Where we stop chasing

& start converting

Most lifestyle brands treat email like a checklist item: toss up a pop-up, promise 10% off, and call it a day. It might get you a few clicks, but it won’t build a brand people remember—or come back to.

That’s where Signal & Scale comes in.

If your list is full of discount chasers, your automations are barely running, and you’re tired of writing one-off emails that go nowhere, you’re not alone. Most small brands never get around to fixing the system, because they don’t have one. You’re too busy making the product, managing the shop, and keeping the business alive to worry about churn in your email list.

Signal & Scale helps build you a system that welcomes new subscribers, keeps them engaged, nudges them to buy again, and gently asks for referrals without you writing a new email every week or burning out trying to stay consistent.

No hype. No hacks. Just a well-tuned machine that sounds like you, fosters relationships, and actually sells.

Who am i?

My name is Dave Conrey and I’ve been in email marketing for over a decade. I also have a long history in design and art direction before that, which means I care just as much about how something feels as how it performs.

I’ve worked with clothing companies, indie publishers, handmade brands, and cottage-industry businesses long enough to know that those folks don’t want boilerplate marketing. They want connection.

They want systems that respect their time yet still sound like a thoughtful human is behindon the other end, not just pressing the send button and hoping for the best.

Signal & Scale was built with that purpose in mind, because your work deserves better than a generic funnel and a discount code.

Ready to fix what your competition is ignoring?

If your email list feels more like a neglected driveway than an open road to opportunity, let’s talk.

The first step is booking a call, where we’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and what to do about it.

No sleaze or pressure. Just clarity.
